 The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) is essentially meant for monitoring and supervising all developmental works being executed by various executing agencies. He is also Project Director of the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) under which all the Rural related developmental works either pertaining to MGNREGA, (IWDP) Integrated Watershed Development Project (Haryali) or Self Employment is being monitored and supervised by him.

Besides he also assists the District Development Commissioner in various issues from time to time when asked for.
